Career History:
Director of Planning for the IRIS Consortium, a university research consortium dedicated to exploring the Earth's interior through the collection and distribution of seismographic data. Additionally, Princeton University's 250th Anniversary Visiting Professor for Distinguished Teaching and a member of the US State Department's Arms Control and Nonproliferation Advisory Board.

Professional Accomplishments:

Member of the US Arms Control and Disarmament Agency's 'Red Team' that evaluated the CTBT monitoring system, and participated in the development of the Presidential Decision Directive for CTBT verification requirements. Has directed studies on treaty verification for the US House Intelligence Committee, the Senate Intelligence Committee, the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
